한국 사서직제 개선방안에 관한 연구
A Study on the Improving Personnel System of Librarianship in Korea

초록
이 연구의 목적은 국내 사서직제의 개선방안을 제안하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 5가지의 대안(현행 직제를 유지하되 직급을 상향 조정하는 방안, 사서직렬을 행정직군에서 분리하여 단독직군으로 전환하는 방안, 사서직과 관련직종을 묶어 독립직군으로 신설하는 방안, 사서직을 학예직군 아래의 연구직렬로 이속시키는 방안, 그리고 복수 직군화하는 방안)을 상정하여 각각의 논거, 장점과 단점, 실현가능성 등을 정밀 분석하였다. 그 결과, 제3안(사서직, 학예직, 기록관리직을 통합한 가칭 ‘기록문화직군 또는 기록정보직군’의 신설)을 한국 사서직제의 가장 바람직한 대안으로 제안하였다.

Abstract
This study aims to suggest a new personnel system(classification of public position) for librarianship in Korea. In order to achieve this goal, the five alternative plans are analysed with respect to the grounds of an argument, merits and demerits, and its realization. In conclusion, the ‘record culture group' or ‘record information group'(tentative name), that is, a single group brought together librarian, curator, and archivist is the best alternative to establish a professional identity and social status of librarian in Korea.
